Down To Earth Technologies at the Ground-Breaking Event Organized by ICTA at Bomet, Mulot.

It is undoubted that technology is spreading its wings within and beyond different parts of the country. The recent beneficiary of technological growth in the country is Mulot area in Bomet. As statistics suggest, Bomet county and specifically, the Mulot area has been hitting the headlines as far as hacking is concerned. The region hosts talented ICT geniuses who have been misusing their skills. As a result, the ICTA saw the need of tapping such talent by setting up a software factory in the area to nurture the young talents who have technological passion.

The groundbreaking and Launch Ceremony of the 1st Kenya Software Industry in Mulot, Bomet County attracted various technology companies and among them was, Down To Earth Technologies Ltd. D.T.E attended the ground-breaking event to support ICTA in its visionary ceremony, which aims at nurturing the young, passionate technological innovators to become ethical professionals in the first growing, ICT industry.

The Representatives from Down To Earth Technologies had an interactive session with a panel comprised of the ICTA- CEO, Mr. Kipronoh Ronoh, and the current Bomet Governor, DR Hillary Barchok, among other dignitaries (Pic 1.4). D.T.E promised to support the initiative by ICTA by offering internship opportunities and Job opportunities to the locals who are in the ICT space. The company representatives also spared some time to interact with the locals including, students and adults who were delighted with the contribution of Down To Earth Technologies not only in the ICT industry but also through its Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes.

At the end of the ceremony, D.T.E provided various giveaways to the people in attendance after a fun session of questions and answers.
